An Adventure Ride I’ll Always Remember

My ride to Sikkim under Sameera’s lead has been one of the greatest adventure rides I’ve experienced so far. What started as a motorcycle journey turned into an unforgettable adventure where we pushed the limits and took adventure riding to the next level.

From Nathula to Lachen, Lachung and Donkhyala Pass, every stretch brought something different, challenging roads, breathtaking landscapes, unpredictable weather and the kind of riding experiences that stay with you long after the journey is over.

Of course, the journey didn’t go exactly as planned. We unexpectedly got caught in a landslide in Lachen and had to stay there for three days. The conditions were genuinely tough, and the uncertainty could easily have made the situation stressful. But Sameera handled everything so calmly and professionally that she never really made us feel how difficult the situation actually was. Her confidence and ability to manage things during those challenging days made a huge difference.

Another thing I really appreciated was the overall planning and support. The stays were really good, and having a backup vehicle and a mechanic throughout the trip gave us an added sense of security, especially considering the kind of terrain and unpredictable conditions we were riding through.

For me, a great motorcycle expedition isn’t just about the destinations or the roads.

And this ride delivered all of that.
